The time of perestroika was difficult for the entire USSR, and Slava Demin was no exception. Actively participating in political life, he was also involved in the artworks.
Slava Demin worked as an artist in cinema at the Moscow Studio from his youth. But the peak of his film activity came in the 2000s, when he worked as film art director.
During his active work in the cinema, Slava Demin also painted pictures for himself. Most of these works were inspired by biblical stories and surrounding beauty.
In 2017, Demin moved to the US and soon found inspiration to resume his creative work as an artist. Most of the works are lyrical in nature and made in Washington State.
